September 9, 2006 “Digital Stories” Weekend 1

Prompt: What nourishes you as a teacher/writer/person?

     As a teacher… I am nourished by my students in ways that sometimes I can hardly believe. They make me want to be better for them. I feed off of their excitement and engery. Sometimes they come up with ideas and we just run with them.

     As a writer… I am nourished by reading others works. By reading the works from others it prompts me to different areas in my world and I gather my ideas. Sadly I have not taken the time to sit down and work on alot of them. I have written down the ideas and thoughts in my head, however I haven’t taken any action on them.

     As a person…  I am nourished by my family, friends, my awesome other half and of course really great food. The people in my life are what keeps me going.
